Memorial Biography

Andrea Laura Hayes was born in Santa Rosa on November 30, 1964. She was a fourth generation member of the Osborn/Harrison  Family in Sonoma County  She attended school in Santa Rosa graduating from both Montgomery High School and the Santa Rosa Junior College. Andrea attended US International University in San Diego as a Musical Theater Major.

She loved dance, starting at age 4 she become quite proficient in ballet, jazz, contemporary and modern dance. She was a Jr. Instructor for Burkhart's (now Norquist's) Ballroom Dance in High School.  Upon her return to Santa Rosa following college, she worked as a model and spokesperson for numerous companies. Her love of theater lead her to performing in numerous productions at the Old Vic.

Acting was only part of her talents and interests. She started playing percussion and drums in the 7th grade and was part of the Montgomery High School Jazz Ensemble. She played percussion around Sonoma County with Johnny B. and the Stingers and also sang with the group.

While Theater and Performing was always her first love, like some many she worked a day job. She was a Registered Dental Assistant for 10 years and often worked for various catering companies around Sonoma County. Over the past few years she discovered a second passion, cooking. She had the opportunity to learn her craft at Northwood Golf Course and we loved to taste her amazing creations.

Andrea was also extremely passionate about playing pool. Coming from a family of pool players (her Grandpa Hayes and Uncle Denny), she excelled playing in the North Bay Pool League. She and her husband, Eric Holm were often partners.

Andrea loved her friends and family, and she had many friends. She loved being an Aunt and was always proud of her niece Audrey Hayes and her nephews, Blake Hayes, Logan Leddy and John Leddy. At the time of her sudden death, she was married to her husband Eric Holm and resided in Sebastopol.

She is survived by her parents, Merle Hayes of Santa Rosa and Terrence Hayes (Cindy) of Naples, Fl. Her sister, Kathy Hayes (Jim Leddy) of Santa Rosa and her brother, Brendan Hayes (Heidi) of San Diego. Andrea is also survived by her Aunt Cathy Hayes of Santa Rosa and Her Uncle Donald Osborn of Healdsburg. She left us on July 18, 2017.
